The study was carried out by Holidu, first gathering a list of all islands in Greece, then checking the average monthly search volume on Google for “name of the island” and “island name Greece” in French by people in France over the past 12 last months.
1. Crete – 116,600 monthly searches on Google

After being ranked fourth the previous year, Rhodes recently jumped to second place in monthly searches on Google.
