The heat that hit Moscow on September 13 could update the temperature record set in 1909. Then the capital warmed up to +27.4 degrees.
“The reason for this will be a record warm night, as cloudiness will not allow the air to cool below plus 15-18, which, against the background of the strengthening of the solar anticyclone and the movement of warmer air, will become a favorable starting position for a significant increase in daytime temperatures,” explained the leading specialist of the Phobos meteorological center Evgeniy Tishkovets.
Forecasters predicted abnormal heat of up to +29 degrees in the Ryazan region. At night, the temperature will rise to +18 degrees. Southeast winds and partly cloudy weather are expected. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the region.

In St. Petersburg, the peak of abnormal weather conditions falls on the weekend of September 14-15. In this region, the temperature in the shade will reach +26-27 degrees.
A similar situation is expected on September 13 in the Kursk region. Hot and dry weather will remain there. Temperature – up to +29 degrees. The cause of the anomaly is anticyclones that block humid air masses from the Atlantic.
